Question: Microsoft access database?

Hi if you have some fields in a table, say bookings. how do you make a query so that it creates a unique booking id automatically. also the unique id's cannot be same as some of the bookings already in the table thanks

If you add in a field in the bookings table with the type 'AutoNumber', indexed 'Yes (no duplicates)' then that'll do it.
