Need help with orders database in access?
hi all, bit of a long 1 dis is the database is in access im making an order database. So far i have done all calculations for income from all the orders in reports.im stuck on how to calculate profit and loss. like i need 2 put in expenditure for the company e.g. repairs so what would be the best way to do this part? create another table containing the repair details or wa? then ive made a payslip section which produces payslip for the employees.and i have created a stock section where new stock may need 2 b bought after a order has been made so pretty much how can i combine the expenditure repairs, paying employees, and buying new stock and then minus it from the total income from orders to show the profit made for the company?can it be done in a report? in a query?i think that i will like this report done on a monthly basis.please can every1 who answers explain in easy steps pleasethank u very much for all who answer

I will use php + mysql for a web site. Can I build a database in Access first, and just convert it to mysql?
I can build the datbase in Access easily as I am familiar with this program , but know nothing about mysql. Will converting the database from Access to mysql work as well as originally designing the database in mysql? In case it matters, I will use a form for users to submit to the site to populate some of my tables. Can I use a program like my dbdump to do everything for me including conversion to mysql and adding PHP after the Access database is created? If so, can I then combine this with my html site already build and be essentially finished with my site? Obviously I'm a noob Thanks in advance
